Howard E. Case, C.P.A. is a Principal of Founders Capital Management and is President and Managing Partner of Case, Corrado, Yazmer & Company, P.C., a public accounting firm at which he has served as a business adviser and certified public accountant for almost 40 years. Howard expertise includes the evaluation of financial statements and market conditions to determine the fair purchase or sale price of a business. He has served on the board of directors of several for-profit and non-for-profit organizations, and his expertise spans a wide range of fields including tax and estate planning, general business consulting, and retirement planning. He has also served as a principal and adviser in the creation, purchase, and sale of numerous businesses in the manufacturing, retailing, real estate, and professional services industries. Howard holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Vermont.
Jon Case is a Principal and Chief Compliance Officer of Founders Capital Management. Jon was previously employed in the venture capital group of a major investment bank, where he was involved with the investment-decision making process for companies in the information technology, biotechnology and consumer products industries. Over the past 20 years, Jon has founded and served in senior management positions for several closely held businesses in the medical research, information technology, and financial services fields. He co-founded and served as Vice President of Finance for a venture-backed biotechnology company and has prior experience in accounting, finance, and small business consulting. Jon holds an undergraduate degree in economics and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Patrick A. Terrion is a Principal of Founders Capital Management. Previously, he was President of The Terrion Group, an investment advisory firm he established in 1998 that merged with Founders in 2003. From 2000-2015, Pat taught a special topics course in the Business School at the University of Connecticut that provides selected students an opportunity to manage and invest a portion of the UConn Endowment Fund. Pat also collaborated with A Squared Entertainment and Warren Buffett to develop “The Secret Millionaires Club,” an animated children’s series that promotes financial literacy to children. Pat previously served in senior management positions with several global organizations including British Airways and Thomas Cook/American Express, and he was a director on the board of British Airways North American pension Fund. Pat is also an advisory Member of the Board of Directors for St. Francis Healthcare Partners, an accountable care organization serving over 125,000 attributed lives in the Greater Hartford, CT area. He holds a B.S. in business administration from The University of Massachusetts.
